Cool weather has finally arrived alerting us that Autumn is here, sort of. Time to pull out your jackets, sweaters, hot cocoa and start thinking about portraits for the holiday season. Now is the time for families, couples, and even seniors to come in and capture fall portraits because Christmas will be here faster than you realize!

For the Family
This is a great example of a family having complimenting outfits. The idea it to pick a color palette that will work with your home style and your families personality. This Fall don’t be afraid of pastels and “cooler” tones, fashion is breaking all the rules this season and we love it! Again, it is all about complimenting and sticking within colors that work well with each other.

For the Couple
What a wonderful time of year to capture engagement or couple portraits. There is something about fall that makes you feel at home and these warmer tones are one of many ways to go. This is a good example of how choosing certain colors can work together without being “too much”. Just imagine those golden leaves surrounding you! Love it!

For Kids
Kids can have so much fun with these autumn choices. The clothing out there for kids are just so stylish! They are no longer limited to just cartoon characters but can dress like little fashion stars which is great for them and us! Using the same color tones as suggested you can create adorable outfits with a little oomph to them!
